Where is my formal invitation?
The Save the Date doubles as your invitation. Please click on the RSVP link in the top right to let us know if you’re coming!
Can I bring a plus one?
In order to keep our guest list on track, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your Save the Date invitation. If you don’t know if you can bring a plus one, please reach out to Valerie or Michael.
Can I bring my children?
Only if they were specifically invited on your Save the Date. If you don’t know if you can bring children, please reach out to Valerie or Michael.
What is a tea ceremony?
This is a Vietnamese tradition where the groom and his family will ask for the brides hand in marriage. As much as we would love all our friends to be in attendance, this will be for family members only due to time and space constraints.
What should I wear to the tea ceremony?
Cocktail attire. Women can wear a traditional Vietnamese ao dai or cocktail dress. Men can wear suits or a blazer with slacks. No jeans.
What time does the wedding ceremony start?
The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM. Doors will be closed 10 minutes beforehand so please arrive appropriately. The reception will start immediately after the ceremony is complete.
What should I wear to the wedding ceremony?
Cocktail attire. Women can wear a cocktail dress in any color except for white. Men can wear suits or a blazer with slacks. No jeans.
What are the wedding colors?
Dusty Blue and White.
Where should I stay?
The venue/hotel has room blocks, please click on this link to book a room. Rental homes through Airbnb and HomeAway are also an option.
Is there parking or valet?
There is valet on site that is cash only. Parking is also available on the street but is not recommended if you plan to party with us. Lyft and Ubers are preferable.
What type of food and drinks will be served?
Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the reception. There will also be an open bar until 12:00 AM.
Will the venue be indoors?
Yes. The Tea Ceremony and Wedding Ceremony plus the Reception will be indoors at the Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin Hotel.
When does the Wedding reception end?
The reception officially ends at 12:00 AM. Send off and after party to follow immediately afterwards in the hotels bar.
When are RSVP’s due?
Please RSVP by Monday, July 15, 2019 for the food and beverage headcount.
